More Annoyed than Amused

It’s amazing how one thing can change the course of your weekend.

We were supposed to fly to Philly from Manchester on Friday. To get to Manchester there is a free shuttle which we were going to take. I looked up directions to get to the bus stop and Husband and I hopped into a cab. The cab driver didn’t really speak English, didn’t use his GPS and ignored my directions so 40 minutes and $30 later we had missed the shuttle. We then had to get another cab back to our apartment (it only took 15 minutes to get back going the way I had looked up), jump in the car and start driving to New Hampshire. We got in our car at 4pm. Our flight was at 6pm. Manchester is 50 miles aways. We arrived at the airport at 6:30pm.  It snowed and sleeted the whole drive.  And I blame it all on the freaking taxi driver.

Then when we landed back in Manchester today the car was dead (fortunately a jump fixed the problem) and we got home about ten minutes before there was a white out crazy snow storm.

If only we had caught the shuttle…
