Warm Chocolate Pecan Pie

with ice cream. Do I have your attention now? Okay, East Coast Grill is probably one of the first restaurants in Boston that I would go back to. We had a really nice dinner there, made even nicer by the lovely company of the CIA twins (this is my pseudonym for a couple we know who used to work for the CIA).

Husband had a BBQ plate with yummy cornbread and watermelon and I had mahi mahi with red beans and rice, avocado and pineapple salsa and fried plantains. All that washed down with a pitcher of excellent sangria and great conversation would have been enough for me to write a review. But then we had dessert and all I can say is the warm chocolate pecan pie is incredible. If you are ever in Boston and want a treat, run don’t walk to East Coast Grill!

Of course the whole evening was marred by our car incident but really it was a standout evening even though it ended with a visit to the police.
