Wax On Wax Off

There is nothing quite as disconcerting as going to get your bikini wax only to realize you went to high school with your waxer.

And by disconcerting I mean mortifying and embarrassing.  She was keeping a running commentary on high school and all I could think was stop talking to me while looking at my hooha.

Also I felt like I had to tip more than normal because a. she asked me what I did and b. she is a single mom (recent divorce six year old child) and c. if I didn’t she would be telling people at the reunion that not only did she see my hooha but I also didn’t tip well.

Fabio also born on this date. I think he models but only on the cover of romance novels. Gag me.

Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray. I Just Want to Fly was our high school senior song. The song sucks.

Eva Longoria we share two traits…we are both short and from Texas .

Husband had planned a wonderful weekend getaway to Montreal for my birthday and then work intruded and I have been out of town all week. I feel bad because Husband had planned the whole weekend and work ruined the surprise and the weekend. Perhaps we can go somewhere for his birthday in April instead. I do appreciate the effort though. He’s a good Husband.

Anyway, here I’m am 28. When I was ten I thought I would never make it to my 16th birthday because it seemed so far way. Now I’m 28 and I can actually imagine having a 40th birthday.

How times have changed.
